Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO)

Description:

RVO occurs when a vein in the retina becomes blocked, leading to vision loss and retinal damage.

Symptoms:

Sudden vision loss or blurriness, Swelling in the retina, Seeing floaters or light flashes.

Treatment:

Medications: Anti-VEGF injections, corticosteroids.
Laser Treatment: To reduce retinal edema and manage complications.
Surgery: In severe cases, vitrectomy may be considered.
